Preserve Halloween Pumpkin

Halloween is one of those special days in a year where parents can look forward to bonding with their children. Of course, the kids are most excited about dressing up in their favorite costumes and roaming the neighborhood for some tasty treats. While trick or treating is the highlight for the children, parents also look forward to showing off some of their artistic skills in crafting the best jack-o’-lantern. To a certain degree, some of these pumpkin lanterns are a sight to behold.

However, the reality is these pumpkins have a relatively short shelf life. Before you know it, your lantern would look more rotten than presentable. In this case, apply Vaseline, and your art piece will retain that vibrant orange color.
