Christopher Plummer entered the 90th-year working in the industry as a well-respected actor on both on-screen and on stage. Over the course of his six-decade career, he achieved worldwide recognition and accolades from prestigious award-giving bodies. Aside from his legendary status in the entertainment scene, he was also given the credit to play one of the most iconic characters in the industry, Captain Von Trapp in the 1965 production of The Sound of Music.
