HARRY BELAFONTE – 92

Harry Belafonte is one of the iconic figures that made the Jamaican-American pop culture significant during the 50s and 60s. He not only made an impression in North America but he became a worldwide pop sensation with his music. At one point, he became the first artist that reached the million-selling mark for LP. This degree of accomplishment was never heard of until the arrival of Belafonte.

In 2014, he was given the award of Hersholt Humanitarian from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 2018, we saw Harry Belafonte working alongside Spike Lee in the 2018 crime film BlacKkKlansman. Just like in real life, he played the role of a civil rights advocate in that movie. He is the first African American TV producer, and throughout his career, he contributes so much to various productions. Harry is a wise man and did investment planning for his future.
