RUSS TAMBLYN – 84

The actor, Russ Tamblyn has been active in the industry since the late 40s. Yes, you got that right, he’s been in the industry for over 4 decades! Aside from acting, he is also a gifted dancer. This particular talent led him landing some major roles in various productions during that time including the 1961 musical West Side Story. The show industry did not discover his talents. Instead, he discovered them at the early age of 5.

He is talented and often showcases it as a gymnast and dancer. Later on, he started acting in movies and films. However, this did not stop him from dancing because he was cast in a fantastic dance film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954). A few years ago, news surfaced that he underwent open-heart surgery. Good thing, he came in prepared and has nice medical insurance. After his quick recovery, he wasted no time and resume working as an actor right away. Can’t keep Russ down, that’s for sure!
