Roseanne Barr was born in Utah in 1952. Barr started her career in stand-up comedy before she achieved success in her own sitcom entitled Roseanne. The show aired from 1988 until 1997, and she garnered an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. For eight years, Barr created the role of “fierce working-class domestic goddess” in sitcoms, and at the same time created a reality show that is not a victim of patriarchy and consumerism, but a strong mother.

It was known that she earned $21 million in salary during the last season of the show. Having a net worth of $80 million, one of her investments is the 2,212-square-foot ranch-style house in Hawaii, which she bought in 2007 for $1.78 million. Interestingly, it has an organic garden with 2,000 macadamia nut trees!
