JOHN GOODMAN: BOXING, CARDIO, RESISTANCE TRAINING & DIET

Weight was always a concern for the award-winning actor and comedian John Goodman. However, that didn’t impede his growing career, but it definitely had crucial effects on his overall health. Then it all started to hit him and he quickly decided he needed to do something to get back on track with his weight target. It took more than a year before John Goodman lost a staggering 100 pounds. It was a total body transformation, thanks to his three-month program. He did boxing and even worked with several professional boxing champions. He also did cardio and resistance training. To track his progress, he was under close medical supervision.


John also followed a Mediterranean diet. He was eating mostly plant-based food, a lot of fruits and vegetables, a high amount of olive oil, and a little red meat. To a certain degree, this diet helped him not only to lose weight but also to boost his mood.
