Matthew McConaughey has been losing and gaining weight for his roles in different movies. For his movie credits in the Dallas Buyers Club, he had to drop off a massive amount of weight to play the role of a cowboy with AIDS. Here, he lost a staggering three stones and eight pounds. So, how did he do it?
In an interview, he revealed that he ate a lot of fish, but only about five ounces of it and a cup of vegetables twice a day. He also followed an intense workout routine to burn off the extra calories in his body. For the first two weeks of his diet, he already lost eight pounds. For that, we truly admire Matthew for his dedication and discipline.
