Angelina Jolie was born in California in 1975. She is a film superstar, famous actress, philanthropist, social activist, an alumnus of New York University, United Nations Children’s Goodwill Ambassador. She was nominated for the Academy Awards twice and won the 72nd Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2000 with Girl, Interrupted. Angelina Jolie may have come from a family of actors, but she established herself as a Hollywood A-lister and an excellent actress. Talent runs in the blood, indeed.

She showed interest in acting as a child and enrolled in Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Then came the 1997 biopic George Wallace, which turned out to be her breakthrough movie. She received numerous awards in the following years for her performances and that paved the way for her superstardom. Credits to her determination and mastery in the craft, she is now worth $100 million. Jolie recently appeared in the 2019 sequel of Disney’s Maleficent.
