DAN AKROYD: ~ $180 MILLION
This next guy is a crowd favorite, especially for his comedic gigs on Saturday Night Live in the ’70s. We’re talking about Dan Aykroyd, who is not only a comedian but also a screenwriter and entrepreneur. Dan Aykroyd was born in Ottawa, Canada in 1952. From 1975 to 1979, he served as a team member on the Saturday Night Live TV show. In 1990, he was nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Driving Miss Daisy.
Aykroyd has a total of 70 films to his credit, including Pearl Harbor, 50 First Dates, and Ghostbusters. But what’s interesting about him is that he never intended to become an actor, he wanted to become a priest! It’s sort of funny, but maybe he’s just destined to do more. With a net worth of $180 million, he also put up a vodka business with a million-dollar revenue!
