ALEXIS OHANIAN: ~ $40 MILLION

Today, start-up investor Alexis Ohanian may be known for marrying tennis legend Serena Williams. However, Ohanian is also known for co-founding Reddit. Similarly, he and his co-founders Steve Huffman sold Reddit in 2006. When they sold Reddit for $10 million, the $10 million was more than he had seen before. Aside from this, he has other businesses, like co-founding Initialized Capital and other startups, such as Instacart, Opendoor, Zenefits, and Cruise, investing a total of $500 million.

Alexis Kerry Ohanian was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1983. After graduating from high school, Ohanian attended the University of Virginia. There he met Steve Huffman, who would be his Reddit co-founder. After he graduated college, Ohanian founded several internet startups. They co-founded Reddit in 2005, putting their investment on a news website, where users could post and rank news contents.
