JON VOIGHT | 83
Younger audiences might know him best as Angelina Jolie’s father, but Jon Voight is one of the most critically acclaimed actors in Hollywood. This is in terms of awards, nominations, and accolades he has received for his performances. Overall, he brought home an Academy Award and won four out of his eleven Golden Globe nominations. Now that’s creditworthy of becoming a legend in the entertainment scene.
In his early life, his political views aligned with American liberal views, and he supported President John F. Kennedy, describing his assassination as traumatizing to people at that time. His career started to slow down during the 80s but that didn’t stop him from receiving credit in the movie Runaway Train. He later made a strong comeback in Heat, while working alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. In the 1990s, he made his first acting debut in television films. He began acting in 1991’s Chernobyl: The Final Warning, then followed by The Last of his Tribe in 1992. In 2020, he turned 83 years old, and he is still working as an actor.
