ROBERT ENGLUND | 74
The horror film genre has its place in the history books of Hollywood greats. It also applied to Robert Englund’s career, which found his place in one of Hollywood’s most iconic characters, the serial killer Freddy Krueger of The Nightmare. He then received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors in 1987 and A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master in 1988. He also won a Fantafestival Award for The Mangler in 1995.
Throughout his career, he has been given credit for engaging in over 100 TV and film productions. That goes to show the kind of versatility he has, truly deserving of his spot in Hollywood and the recognition for being one of its greats. He is far from retirement, though, and his most recent projects will include another horror movie, Abruptio. Also, he will cast in the horror film Fear Clinic and the English thriller The Last Showing.
