Phoebe Cates used to wow us with her incredible acting talent in the movies Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins in the 1980s. However, she later decided to leave the entertainment world and venture into the world of business. Since she retires in the film industry, her time was divided between the country estate and their luxury penthouse on the upper east side. Her career time was spent well, which provide her with enough investments and memories.

She made an investment to open a store of her own, called Blue Tree, a boutique located in the Upper East Side in 2005. But before she tried her luck in the business world, she used to make everyone’s heart fall in love. Aside from dominating the big screen, she also graced the cover of different magazines. She also joined the TV series world, starting with the mini-series Lace in 1984. Cates also appeared off-Broadway and eventually retired from acting in 1994.
